See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Oh, good gravy! This was one hell of a workout. After yesterday my wife said the workout wasn’t as hard as she thought I would have made it. So I made sure she felt it today. We could run through this sequence in about 8-10 minutes. I made her go through it 4 times with me. We were both hurting at the end and I was drenched. Not to shabby for a Tuesday. I am thinking tomorrow may be an active rest day and I’ll take the pupper for a walk. We will see.

Other than that it’s a glorious morning here in Texas. I’ve got a tan and am feeling good. All is well!

How is it Monday already! The weekend flew by for me. It started by me dropping the kids off at the in-laws Friday before work so they could stay the weekend. So the wife and I had date night at Gloria’s. Which my wife had 3 margaritas and was sufficiently wasted to the point of falling over by the time we got home. Obviously it was an early bedtime.

Saturday we did some house work and took the doggo for a good walk. In the afternoon we went over to chill in the pool with the kids and the in-laws. Also to keep working on that base tan for the beach in a few weeks. It was a really good afternoon. We left the kids there and headed home to just chill.

Sunday was our normal Sunday of grocery shopping and doing laundry. The kids came home around 3 and were exhausted from swimming all weekend that they went to bed at 7. So we went to bed early too.

The wife decided to workout with me in the morning so we both did a HIIT workout and felt good. She is feeling all those squats! Now we both need all the food and to find some motivation to work today.

Hope y’all had a good weekend!

efbombmom asked:

How do you feel about VAR?

morningmiles answered:

VAR?

@efbombmom ahhh. Okay! So I have been watching most games on my phone at work which means I am not catching everything that happens and I am not listening to them. So I haven’t noticed too much. Which is something to be said.

As long as it doesn’t interfere with the flow of the game I’m okay. I’ll watch games at home today and maybe I will have a different opinion.

@timintraining it’s a toss up at this point. Not one team has looked stellar to this point. Spain and Portugal have impressed and France’s sencond game they looked crisp. But you can’t count out the Germans or Brasil. And don’t look now but Nigeria has won 2 games!

I think by the knock out round we will have a better idea.

Argentina has sorely disappointed all expectations.

Sports and stuff

So I have always been into sports, it doesn’t matter what sport, just competition that I like. It’s almost kinda sad, but everything is a competition to me, I am always striving to be better and out do someone. Even if I don’t know them.

Soccer is my sport of choice, I played all the way through college. I have all the physical attributes that made me excel on the field. I am 6’1 and about 190 lbs (in college and now), I can dunk a basketball, I ran a 4.38 40 years dash in college and was squatting 500+ and could bench about 240. I was a beast to say the least. I played about all the positions on the field but I excelled as a stopper (center defender) of a defensive midfielder. I played through college on scholarship.

I started at Missouri Southern State and started every game my freshmen year and was honorable mention all American. Come sophomore year a coaching change happened and I barely played as politics were involved and the coach played favorites to the upper class men. I didn’t care for that and transferred at semester to West Texas A&M. I meshed well but tore my ankle up. I needed surgery as I only had about 30% stability left, so that killed a year. Coming back the next year I tore my ACL, by that time I was a senior and decided I would rather graduate than rehab and try to stretch out another year. Of course I graduate and come home, meet my wife and then tear the same ACL as well as my PCL and both meniscus’s playing indoor with a new team. I haven’t played since.

I added weight today and grabbed my 20 lb kettlebell and boy was that interesting. It’s the first day of summer and from what I can tell it’s humid everywhere. It was a real feel of like 84 at 4 am here. And it was gross. But I got my workout in, I’m...

It was a real feel of like 84 at 4 am here. And it was gross. But I got my workout in, I’m exhausted, but I am starting to see some muscle definition in my upper body again. So that’s cool.

Is it Friday yet?

The school years.

So elementary school was normal for a small town, small meaning I would have graduated with something like 45 kids. Not much to it, again it was elementary school.

The start of middle school we had just moved back to Texas and I soon found out that I was way behind in school and struggling. I knew it, the teachers knew it, my parents knew and and so did my so call “friends”. Not my idea of a good time. I just did the work and in retrospect this is when I started to dislike being at school.

High school was a bitch. I hated every moment of it. I didn’t have a group of friends and my high school was clicky, I was easily made an outcast and passed over for a lot of stuff. I couldn’t wait to graduate and actually was in co-op so I worked 40 hours per week and only went to school part time. That helped. I played soccer for school but that is a whole other story for another time. It put it simply, high school sucked. By my 10 year class reunion, which I wasn’t invited to not that I would have gone anyway, apparently half the class though I was dead in a car accident. I wish nobody would have told them differently, I was pretty much dead to them anyway.
